I’m so excited to introduce you to a new pattern in the Molly and Mama range. It was designed specifically for the monthly subscribers of Sew Boxes. The theme for August was ‘Sewing Space Essentials’. So when Leesa asked me if I’d like to create a special hoop art appliqué, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. And here it is – The ‘Craftiness is Happiness’ Hoop Art Pattern.
If you’re reading this blog, then you’re a crafty creative like me. And I dare say that ‘Craftiness is Happiness’ for you too! So you can relate to this.
The pattern outlines how to appliqué and hand stitch the sewing machine, pin cushion and jar of buttons designs. It also includes links for help with the backstitch embroidery. When your design is complete, you can use the included instructions to frame your work in a timber embroidery hoop. What a lovely way to brighten up your sewing room wall.
But you can use the pattern for so many other projects too. Adorn the front of a custom made sewing machine cover, create a cushion for your sewing space, or decorate a sewing supplies bag. The options are endless! If you’d like to see more about the pattern and perhaps view more in the Molly and Mama range, pop by the Etsy store. I love that the patterns are an instant download, so you can print them out and get sewing right away!!
Do you like the pin cushion pictured above too? Pop over HERE for the free tutorial. It’s such a quick and simple sew.
I love being asked to design special projects. It really gets the creative juices flowing! And I just can’t wait to show you the next design I’m working on. So stayed tuned. Join the conversation on Facebook, or check out behind the scenes peeks on Instagram, so you don’t miss anything.
Happy stitching, Lauren x
