Make the Sweet Home Stitch Kit

Earlier this year when I was working with Nic from Craftapalooza Designs on our joint business venture, Makers Bundles, we decided to come up with a cute little needlebook pattern as a bonus project for one of our sewing pattern bundles. So in a collaborative effort, we created the Sweet Home Stitch Kit.

All About The Kit

We wanted to design a small, portable sewing or mending kit that you could easily throw in a drawer or into a handbag or satchel and have with you whenever you needed to sew on a button, or quickly mend a hem! So the Sweet Home Stitch Kit was born.

The Sweet Home Stitch Kit is a fast and satisfying make with very little sewing involved! It’s PERFECT to put together as a gift for loved ones or for stitchy friends.

You simply iron your favourite fabric prints onto the printed template, cut it out, sew a couple of side seams using the sewing machine, add a wool felt page, and create the matching thread bobbin. Once complete, you can load it up with buttons, needles, pins, scissors and more.

Projects like these are great for fabric and felt scraps. You can showcase your favourite print fabrics on the cover of the book and tiny thread card that comes with the design. And you only need the smallest piece of felt to create the needle keeper inside the folded needlebook.
